How this is written

This is a small experiment: English pages that compare expensive Western skincare with Korean products without pretending the formulas are twins.

Rules

• Lead with what is on the ingredient list, not with a nickname.
• Separate “same molecule / same ratio” from “used for a similar job.”
• Do not invent reviews, clinical results, or prices.
• If we cannot confirm an INCI name, we say we cannot confirm it.
• Nothing here is medical advice or a substitute for a dermatologist.

Sources we prefer

Brand INCI pages and independent INCI databases first. Retail prices from a named shop and a month. Community threads are demand signals, not proof that two products are the same.

Money

Shop links currently go to the retailer with no tracking ID. If an affiliate program that can pay a Korean bank account is connected, those links will be tagged rel="sponsored" and this page will say so. We do not take payment from brands to appear here.

Some pages also offer a separate link to a Korean Product Wiki guide. The destination page carries its own Coupang Partners disclosure; this English site does not copy the destination’s Coupang tracking URL or publisher ID.

Privacy and advertising

As of 27 August 2026, this site has no sign-in, form, newsletter, advertising code, or affiliate tracking ID. The public pages currently include Cloudflare Web Analytics, which Cloudflare Pages adds for usage and performance measurement; Cloudflare’s privacy policy applies to that service.

Shop links leave this site for a retailer or brand. Those third parties may use their own cookies or other technologies under their own privacy notices. We do not receive payment for the current, untracked links.

If Google advertising is added later, this notice will be updated before ads run to explain Google and other vendors’ use of cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers. Where required, the site will use the consent controls applicable to the visitor’s region. See Google’s required-content guidance, How Google uses data, and Ads Settings.
