haruharu is a Korean rich-barrier job match for Farmacy Honey Halo. It is not the same cream.

Farmacy Honey Halo is an intense moisturizer built around shea butter, honey, ceramide NP, propolis, royal jelly and fig. haruharu wonder Black Rice 5 Ceramide Barrier Moisturizing Cream is a Korean 5-ceramide capsule cream with fermented black rice and allantoin. Both can fill a rich facial moisturizing step, but their formulas, texture stories and market availability are different.

Short version: Choose haruharu if you want a Korean ceramide-capsule cream and can buy the current 50 ml variant through an available retailer. Choose Honey Halo if you want Farmacy’s honey-and-shea formula, its current US size options or its own brand claims. haruharu is a rich barrier-moisturizer job match, not a Honey Halo formula copy.

What Farmacy Honey Halo actually is

ProductHoney Halo Ultra-Hydrating Ceramide Moisturizer
FormatIntense facial moisturizer for normal-to-dry skin
Size and US price checked50 ml / US$48 shown on the Farmacy US page, with 15, 25, 50 and 100 ml options
Formula signalsGlycerin, shea butter, honey extract, panthenol, ceramide NP, propolis, royal jelly and fig
Brand-published claimsFarmacy describes intense hydration, visible plumping and skin-barrier improvement; those are Farmacy’s own product claims

The current Farmacy US page positions Honey Halo as an intense moisturizer for dry, distressed skin and normal-to-dry skin. Its published INCI starts with water, glycerin and shea butter, then includes honey extract, panthenol, ceramide NP, propolis, royal jelly and fig. That is a honey-and-emollient formula story with one listed ceramide, not a generic “five-ceramide” cream.

Farmacy also publishes its own instrumental results and describes the cream as rich while saying it absorbs without feeling suffocating. Those statements belong to Honey Halo’s page and testing context. They do not establish that a Korean product has the same texture, barrier result or clinical outcome.

The official US page currently shows US$48 and offers 15 ml, 25 ml, 50 ml and 100 ml selections. Prices, selected variants, shipping and stock can change, so this is a dated purchase snapshot rather than a permanent price.

Availability noteOfficial US page showed Sold out; the YesStyle US-facing page showed 50 ml In-Stock when checked

haruharu’s official page calls this a 5-ceramide capsule cream and lists Ceramide NP, NS, AS, AP and EOP in its full ingredients. It also publishes fermented black rice, rice lees, allantoin and vitamin E as part of the product story. The official list places ceramide NP at 10,105 ppm and rice extract at 200 ppm; the name’s “black rice” language should not be mistaken for a honey or propolis match.

The official page currently shows the 50 ml Unscented variant at US$24 and marks it sold out. YesStyle’s direct product page showed the same 50 ml product at US$16.80 on sale, US$24 regular, and In-Stock for its US-facing surface when checked. That difference is useful shopping information, not a promise of worldwide stock or delivery eligibility.

haruharu’s official page says the product is free from artificial fragrance and describes capsule absorption, all-day moisture and sensitive-skin testing. Those are the brand’s own product statements. We do not transfer Farmacy’s claims to haruharu, or treat either brand’s sensitive-skin language as a medical or clinical guarantee for an individual.

Formula match or job match?

Formula match: no. Honey Halo’s published formula centers on shea butter, honey, propolis, royal jelly, fig and ceramide NP. haruharu’s published formula centers on a five-ceramide capsule system, fermented black rice, rice lees, allantoin and vitamin E. The full INCI, concentrations, vehicle and brand testing are not the same.

Job match: yes, within limits. Both are leave-on facial moisturizers for a richer dry-skin or barrier-support step. That is enough to answer a shopper who means “a Korean cream that can occupy the same place in my routine.” It is not enough to claim the same smell, finish, clinical result, ingredient technology or tolerance.
