Missha is the closest Korean ANR argument because bifida is first. It is not the same serum.

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair and MISSHA Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule 5X share a meaningful clue: the regional official INCI for both puts Bifida Ferment Lysate at the front. That makes Missha a real ingredient comparison. It does not make the two full formulas twins.

Short version: Formula match at the lead ingredient and serum job: Bifida Ferment Lysate. Not a full formula copy: Missha says 77.2% Extreme Biome made from 10 ferments, adds niacinamide, squalane and panthenol, and lists several fragrant oils. The US product page sells ANR as a peptide serum and does not publish a percentage for Bifida Ferment Lysate. Estée Lauder’s Brazilian product page publishes an ingredient list with Bifida Ferment Lysate immediately after water. That is enough to verify the shared lead ferment; it is not enough to claim equal concentration or equal performance.

MISSHA Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule 5X

MISSHA’s US page lists Bifida Ferment Lysate first, then butylene glycol, 1,2-hexanediol, glycerin and betaine. The brand describes the product as a 50 ml overnight ampoule with 77.2% Extreme Biome and 10 probiotic or ferment ingredients. It is the strongest Korean comparison here because the shared ferment is not buried in the last third of the list.

The rest of the list is a different system: niacinamide, panthenol, squalane, sodium hyaluronate, ceramide NP and many additional ferments. It also includes bergamot, geranium, orange-peel, lavender, chamomile and sandalwood oils, plus limonene. That is a material difference from a fragrance-free comparison, especially if scent or essential oils matter to you.

MISSHA lists the 50 ml ampoule at $39 on its US site. YesStyle showed about US$31.10 for the same 50 ml product in late August 2026; discounts and shipping vary.

What “77.2%” does not prove

77.2% is MISSHA’s percentage for its Extreme Biome complex. It is not a published percentage of Bifida Ferment Lysate, and it cannot be compared directly with ANR. Ingredient order can support a useful comparison, but it cannot reveal the dose, fermentation process, delivery system or stability of either bottle.

So the honest answer to “Is Missha a dupe?” is: it is a sensible lower-price bifida-ferment alternative for the same serum step, not an identical formula or a guaranteed result substitute. Check the package in your market because cosmetic ingredient lists can change.
